The way I wud LOVE

This is no classic, this is not even a best seller…but then why is it hear? Its one of MY personal favorite!  Tell you one thing for sure – this is The Way I would Love….

Breathless – as the name says i, is truly breath taking! by the British R&B singer, Shayne Ward. The video is a MUST SEE 😉

The album yielded three singles, and the unexpected successful song “Until You” It was also successful in music markets, entering the top ten of several charts worldwide.

The most catching part about the song is its lyrics and the way the song is composed. Brilliant. Soft to the ears, and touching to the lover inside you.

Speaking about my favline.. its all my fav…

And if our love was a story book
We would meet on the very first page
The last chapter would be about
How I’m thankful for the life we’ve made

Haiti – touch upon ur soul

I am not saying much about this song… because you probably would have heard it.

Wavin’ Flag” is a song by K’naan from his album Troubadour, reaching No.1 in Swiss Music Charts. A remake by a supergroup of Canadian artists, credited as Young Artists for Haiti, became a charity single, with this new version going straight to #1 on the Canadian charts. . The song also appears on the soundtrack for the video game NBA 2K10.

The song was chosen as Coca-Cola’s promotional anthem for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, to be held in South Africa. The English version was released as “Wavin’ Flag (The Celebration Mix)” by K’naan and many other bilingual and country-specific versions have been released.

Heres the song… out to all the FIFA freaks… and most importantly, the Haiti survivors.

Lovely, isn’t it….

when i get older, i will be stronger. They’ll call me Freedom, just like a wavin flag

Economic Slowdown

On my second post, i take the opportunity to educate you on Economics 🙂 …maybe through a rap?

Well, we definitely are recovering from the Big Crash…

Eco-brains 😛

and this rap about two of the great economists of the 20th century, come back to life to attend an economics conference on the economic crisis. Before the conference begins, and at the insistence of Lord Keynes, they go out for a night on the town and sing about why there’s a “boom and bust” cycle in modern economies and good reason to fear it.

The video is sure to get you stuck on to your chairs, while the rap is sure to educate you 😛

The lyrics was written by John Papola & Russ Roberts, and you can def try rapping it yourself. The lyrics are just here.

The rap was by Billy Scafuri and Adam Lustick. They have been writing and performing comedy together for five years. You might have also seen them performing with the award winning sketch comedy team, Harvard Sailing Team and as the comedy rap duo, Snakes. 🙂

Until next time… keep rapping! beware of the Bull and Bear 😉

We oppose each other

Blowing in the wind

Somehow this is my first pick – Blowing in the wind.

Relevant as it is to the present world scenario, this song is filled with meanings. A bit about the song first.

Written by Bob Dylan, it poses a series of questions about peace, love and war. In 1962, the song was published in Sing Out! accompanied by his famous comment:

I have nothing to say about this song except that the answer is blowing in the wind. It ain’t in no book or movie or tv show. Man, it’s in the wind-blowing in the wind.

This song became world famous when it was recorded by Peter, Paul and Mary, and remained on the Top chart for 5 weeks straight! You can check out there song over here.

There are many artists around the world who improvised on the song, but here’s my favorite one, by Katie Melua! And boi! she looks gorgeous…be sure to check it out 🙂

What did i tell you! 😉

Stay tuned for the next pick, and do feel free to mail me if you would like a song to be featured! Click here.

Magic of Music

Lets talk science:-

Beautiful music can release a physical energy that will positively affect your skin, by strengthening the contraction and dilation of blood capillaries, improving the circulatory system, and speeding the process of metabolism.

Lets talk emotions :

Its gets us high! It elevates our feelings; be it romance, inspiration, drama or heart pumping rock.

Lets talk Me and You:

We live music. We breath Music. We die for…ahem not that! But certainly, its what we all love. As Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche said “Without music life would be a mistake“.
